Nordmann is about four fifths of what we sell, and for good reason: the needles are soft enough for a two-year-old to grab, the branches are strong enough for heavy decorations, and it will stand in a warm room for five weeks without dropping.
It is also the slowest thing we grow. A 6ft Nordmann has been in the ground eight years and has been hand-shaped every summer since year four. That is most of what you are paying for.
Ours are cut to order from the day you choose them. If you want it cut in front of you, come on a weekend and we will do it — it takes about four minutes.
